Years later I would end up in art school where students would be trying to use black and white techniques to add an air of authenticity to their digitally-produced works.

Here are some images from V Magazine's "Size Issue". They have been causing quite a stir over the web. I must admit I'm conflicted. Having just worked on a job with an amazing plus sized model with stunning bone structure and oodles of confidence I am moving toward a desire to see more body diversity in fashion magazines. On the other hand, similar to Italian Vogue's black issue, this seems to be a beautiful concept tainted by tokenism. At then end of the day, however, fashion is about the clothes...
